Text Box: expenses were reviewed in detail.  In short, we voted and approved the following financial actions: · That our long term reserve CD be increased immediately by $2,300; · That the sum of $7,000 be set aside and “ear marked” for capital improvements.   PM and Chaplain Bruce Baily gave us an inspirational devotional about President’s Day and Brother George Washington. Thank you Bruce for the usual excellent and well prepared message!   PM Guy Chaffin reviewed our S&D list to include brother PM Hub Wellborn (for his lovely wife Mary Alice), PM Herb Hale and brother Curtis Henry.

Text Box: We enjoyed a fabulous dinner prepared by Beth and Don Moeller consisting of: fresh deep fried chicken strips, farm fresh green beans, boiled cabbage, green salad, and the “all expected” chocolate cake. I didn’t see any leftovers, did you?! We were very pleased to have several visitors at the dinner (despite the downpour going on outside) to include two petitioners and one first time visitor who will be meeting more of our brethren over the next few weeks for the purpose of preparing his own petition, as well as a brother from Richardson Lodge.  It was very good to see: Gene Hendrickson, Dean Mathews and Burt Ramsey again!   The 62 minute meeting was “brisk” and included a financial presentation by WM Howard.  Trends in net revenues and
