Text Box: We will report back at the April and May Stated Meetings to with our progress on this project. Every attendee agreed that these John L. DeGrazier Lamar Scholarships for worthy college bound students is a great way to “advance our cause” as operative craftsmen in our own community.

Text Box: The Lamar Scholarship is named after Mirabeau B. Lamar, the first Vice President and the second President of the Republic of Texas, who is known as the Father of Public School Education in Texas. As mentioned, this year’s Lamar Scholarships will be the SUM of $3,000 from general funds PLUS 100% of the designated funds received from our members through a direct mail piece similar to last year. 100% of the costs associated with this direct mail piece are to be underwritten by the line officers.

The cost is $5.00 as usual, but any contributions above this level are TAX DEDUCTABLE as our DeMolay Chapter is a fully authorized 501.c3! Bring your checkbooks and friends, brethren! Also on the menu will be grilled chicken salad, Pineapple Angel
